Dear Friends,
On March 11, 2011 Japan was hit by a tragic tsunami that damaged nuclear reactors in the northeastern part of the country. This dramatic event has raised concern about the level of radioactivity and safety of all products received from Japan. Several LaneLabs brands contain ingredients from Japan. Fortunately, LaneLabs had ample supplies of each ingredient in the US or in transit from Japan prior to March 11, 2011. That stock should last well into late 2011 or earlier 2012.
Going forward, any Japanese ingredient received by Lane Labs will be tested for radiation in Japan and then in the US prior to its processing into capsules or tablets. Both the ingredient and its packaging will be tested. Any failures will not be used in any Lane Labs product. Ever. Copies of ingredient test results will be available upon request. Also, lot numbers of LaneLabs products made prior to March 11, 2011 will be available at www.lanelabs.com/safety.
LaneLabs has been independently certified compliant in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by NSF International. Safety and quality of LaneLabs products is our first concern.
Our thoughts and prayers go to the good people of Japan, and all who have been affected by this catastrophe.
